Summer's just begun. And wow! So far, everything's GRAND! :)
Just a couple of days ago, my playmate, Hannee, celebrated her debut way up North in Pampanga. 3 days of spectacular fun and bonding moments for the rest of 'em, as for me, I only get to spend a day or two. :(
First day: Rej, Pauline, Jem, Grace, Dave, Kayle, Nina , Ruth, Wil and I had to meet up as early as 6:30 am at UST just to get our rides to Pampanga. (Thanks to Rej and Wil for the ride by the way! And to Ka Mario and Ka Jojo for driving our way to the venue. :D) We got caught up by a little traffic jam though after a humongous truck flipped to its side and blocked three-fourths of NLEX. And with that, Ka Mario used the G-lane--Grass lane just to keep our wheels running. Lol. :)) It was real fast, mind you. We totally out-runned Rej's group. Haha. Other than that, the travel was smooth sailing. :)
Ribeye was the first stop. The cotillion people had to practice one last time to polish their dance as well as the modern dance people, which includes me :) After the practice, second stop was the villa in Mimosa. Oh boy, the place was a definition of Haven! Very much relaxing. :) and in there, we took a Lunch feast! Haha.
After eating, We had to secretly practice outside the villa for our surprise number for Hannee. The group sat comfortably in the grass, walked around and played volleyball to sweat off all the calories we ate during lunch. At around 4pm, we had to stop everything to get dressed for the big event. Towels, bags, suits, dresses, toiletries and other necessary things needed for dressing up were all over the room. Everyone was in a hurry 'coz we are like 13ish to use only 3 bathrooms simultaneously..
The night was young, and everyone was gorgeous! We drove our way back to Ribeye with our prim and proper princes and princesses looks. :) Hannee look fabulous with her 3 gowns, a real princess indeed! Her royal highness, Hanna Cecilia Abigail Garcia! :)
Food was great, place was lovely and everything's perfect! We had our own parts, the cotillion, intermission number, introduction, dances, precious pearls, council and toasts. And definitely, Every detail which transpired in this night was truly a memory to keep and withhold. Ruthee was very busy going from one place to another, fixing the line up for each program part, as for the rest of the group, we were busy taking lots and lots of photos--cam whoring Lol. :))
The debut proper ended at around 12mn. Next stop was the villa once more. REST was the only thing all of us could think of, count me in. :P
We had our own share of it. Some were lying in the couch and in the oh-so-soft beds, walking around the villa looking for food to eat, watching tv and taking a short walk outside to check out the place and stargaze. :)
I, for one, took a walk outside the villa. I first went out with Dave. Talked about stuff, loosened things up a bit and took a leisure walk to nowhere exactly. When we grew tired, Dave and I went back inside the villa. Next walk was with Kayle. Oh my, did he scared the hell out of me! He told me that the place was the sanctuary of the Americans, or was it the Japanese during a war I cannot comprehend. Souls, according to him, were just around the place lurking. I didn't want to hear his stories anymore. I'm a self-confessed scaredy cat, you know. Lol. :)) And then, with Paul. We talked about how we are to survive the graduation rites we are about to attend to in just a couple of hours. Standing in the plenary hall, assisting guests and following orders WITH NO SLEEP AT ALL. Lol. :)) Finally, I went solo again with Rej. We took another leisure walk, did some usuals when we get a chance to bond, and talked about ourselves again. The conversation was surely deep, deep enough to make me cry and teary-eyed the moment we went back to the villa. I was definitely touched by her words. Love you, Rej! :)
Second day: I didn't want to go back to Manila. But because of our ushering duties for the Graduation, Kayle, Mark, Paul, Kimi and I had to leave :( Call time was 5am. But we arrived an hour later. Lol. :)) Paul drove, Mark, Kimi and Kayle slept. I pushed myself to be awake, so Kuya Paul will have company. From time to time, my weary eyes gave in to sleep but of course, mind over matter, I chose to be wide awake. :)
The ceremony was orderly compared to last year's. As a reward for the job well done, We were treated to Teriyaki Boy! Yay! Not to mention, free load was also given :P
Mark, Kimi and I haven't had enough of Pampanga! :)) And so, we went back. Paul was too tired and chose to go home instead, as for Kayle, he needs to be home for some family matters. During the travel, Kimi dozed off to sleep for more than an hour. Mark and I were trying our very best not to be sleepy. Mind you, while I was texting, involuntarily, my eyes closed. Lol. Mark told me same thing happened to him for like 3 seconds or so. Zikes! :l Thank God we arrived safely at Fontana.
Upon arrival, the villa was shut closed. So we had to wait for them to be back. Little did we know, Meme was still inside. Haha. Good thing she saw us and let us in. SLEEEEEEP was all we can think of then again. They all swam, as for Mark, Kimi and I, we slept. Zzzzzz..
I was awaken by a whisper in my ear. Jessee!! They're back from their swimming escapade. :) Night drew close and I had to be home. There was a very long discussion on how to go home. But it was resolved after 1 full hour. Rej and I had to be home. The rest of them chose to stay and just leave the next day.. I envy them! I wanted to stay too. :( Mark drove us to the terminal with Nina, Nokie and Kimi. Manila, here we come!
I arrived home at around quarter to twelve. Here's the thing, my parents weren't mad at all. Haha. I should've stayed. :P
So that ends my journey to Pampanga! I had lots of fun and especially enjoyed the company. I love you, 2E and BF!
