String of episodic events ensued for a single day--and what do you know? Today is the day. You can't get your finger on what to say, and what not to. Emotions are hurling over, varied ones, that you can't seem to understand nor decipher. It is as if you're in the pavement of an intersection, attempting to cross to get to the other side of the street, seeing the stop light green, cars crossing on the opposite sides of the road, yet the walk sign's on its green too. Will you follow your instincts or settle for the traffic rule? Silly question. But makes sense.
You start your day with excitement, a product of spontaneity. In a few hours time, you'll be in a place you've never been before with a few people very much close to your heart. Delight spelled all over. And in that unchanged moment, the exact same feeling of delight slowly curved to a tongue-tied emotion that is definitely out of place lurking to slip through your fine painted face. You've chose to put your mind off it. The clock ticks on, shifting its hands hour-to-hour. Still, things aren't how you imagined it to be. And now, that tongue-tied emotion, bit by bit, modifies into some feeling you never thought ever existed. You've always been trying to eradicate that feeling, to just crumple it like a scratch paper, to throw it in a trash bin, to not sow it to the channels of your brains, for you know that it isn't really something you should be vexed about.
Time plays around you as well as the brink of a different sentiment prior to the others you've currently been dealing with--chagrin. You've totally concealed the nonconstructive emotions inch by inch surmounting the upbeat ones. Not wanting to make your preconceived fun day a failure and to have a petty clash, you just made a massive laugh and joke about it. Though deep inside, you knew perfectly it was something that saddened you. Being the ever-so-much patient and self-controlled person that you are, you just let it all pass like it never happened.
Situations can easily drive you into something that you know you are not, like how emotions deceive you to turn your back away from the truth. And you didn't see that one coming. Your feelings have been jumbled up way too much seeing nothing but pitch dark sadness. The emotion you've been dying to throw out in the garbage reappears in front of you, even bringing with it another feeling that you've once plunged at the bottom of the deepest ocean, even placed it on your cannon like cannon ball and fired it all the way to the vast outside universe. It's eating up your sanity, once more. To worsen things, you heard something that utterly challenged how far you can go with your emotions. And with that. less seeing it, you broke down.
Silence has its own way to communicate something extraordinary that words can't seem to fit in to express what you've got. That's how you spent the last ounce of moment with the people close to your heart. The happy day is drawing to a close, yet now, you wear on a face that differently sank a thousand ships. A moment of silence was all you needed to finally settle the unnamed emotion that has been making your day down right. You wouldn't want to part in this losing state. Gradually, you gained your shattered good sense, tapped it intricately and showed a facade of a plain weary individual. And so the day ends.
It's truly comforting to conclude your "fun" day with a tight hug from a person you know will always be there no matter what you've become..
